Below are the primary  terms and conditions for Rusty's Furry Companions.  A more detailed terms and conditions will be provided at the on-boarding.

Specialty Fees

HOLIDAY FEES NOTICE

During major holidays, a small additional fee will be applied to each visit or overnight stay. This holiday rate helps support our availability during the busiest times of the year, allowing us to continue providing the same high level of care while working through peak seasons and time typically reserved for family. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for choosing us to care for your beloved pets during the holidays.

Weekends for Daycare 

The weekends are the busiest of days, to provide the BEST care an additional fee of $5 will be applied

Terms & Conditions for Pet Sitting and Related Services

This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the Client (“Pet Owner”) and Rusty’s Furry Companions (“Pet Sitter” or “Company”). The parties agree to the following terms and conditions regarding the provision of pet care and related services.

1. Term and Scheduling

This Agreement takes effect when signed by Pet Owner and remains in effect until terminated as outlined in Section 9. The initial service period commences on the first date requested and accepted via the website. The Client may make reservations online or through the Owner Portal at any time during the Agreement, subject to Pet Sitter availability. Additional services can be requested by emailing Rusty’s Furry Companions. All scheduled visits are governed by this Agreement. Advance notice is appreciated, but all requests will be accommodated as possible.

2. Service Fees and Invoicing

All service requests and payments are made through the portal. Fees are listed with each service, and estimates are provided when placing request. A non-refundable booking fee equal to 40% of the service invoice is required at the time of booking.

3. Authorization and Emergency Care

Rusty’s Furry Companions is authorized to provide care as described. Animal welfare takes priority. If extra services are needed, Rusty’s will try to contact the Client or emergency contact; if unreachable, the Pet Sitter may take necessary actions for the animal’s well-being—such as extra visits, contacting a veterinarian, or authorizing care up to $500 (not including euthanasia). The Client must cover all related costs and reimburse Rusty’s for any expenses, including home, food, or supplies.

For emergencies, a credit card must be given to the vet. If unavailable, Rusty’s Furry Companions will use its own card, and the Owner must fully reimburse them.

4. Pet Safety and Relocation

If Rusty’s Furry Companions decides that a pet cannot safely remain at the Owner’s home without supervision, the Owner agrees to allow the company to contact the emergency contact or relocate the pet to the Pet Sitter’s home (additional fees may apply).

If the Company feels that the pet is not handling the facility well, the company will contact client and/or emergency contact for further arrangements.

The company will evaluate your pet’s behavior to determine whether it can interact with others.

Dog walks are provided individually unless the dogs are from the same household.

5. Liability and Indemnification

Pet Sitter agrees to provide services reliably and with care. The Client expressly waives all claims against Pet Sitter/Rusty’s Furry Companions arising from the provision of services, except for gross negligence or willful misconduct. The Client agrees to indemnify Pet Sitter/Company for any injury, disease, or harm sustained by Pet Sitter while providing services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6. Payments and Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total bill is due before the scheduled service period. The final payment is due 3 days before Service date. Unpaid balances after 7 days will incur a 25% weekly finance charge. Returned checks are subject to a $35 handling fee. Advance deposits are required.  If collection proceedings are necessary, the Client is responsible for all attorney’s fees and collection costs.

7. Substitute Pet Sitter

In the event of a personal emergency or illness, Pet Sitter may arrange for another qualified person to fulfill responsibilities. Rusty’s Furry Companions remains responsible for proper discharge of services and will attempt to notify the Client. This can include another employee of Company or an Independent Contractor. 

The Company will compensate the Independent Contractor, so the Owner is not required to make any payments.

8. Pet Health Requirements

Owners booking for in facility must have up-to-date core vaccinations, biannual fecal tests, flea and heartworm prevention, and at least one annual vet visit.

Home visits necessitate an annual examination, rabies vaccination, and yearly fecal testing.

Owners must keep Owner Portal updated on medical and behavioral changes; all information can be uploaded on the portal. If owner is having problems with the upload, they can email Company updates.  

Failure to do so may result in denial of future services. Every effort will be made to obtain required documents before the service start date.

9. Termination of Agreement

Either party can end this Agreement at any time with written, verbal, or unsubscribe notice. Pet Sitter is owed for completed services and transition tasks. Pet Sitter will only end a scheduled service if health or safety is threatened; in that case, the Client agrees to have the pet kenneled at their expense.

Accounts inactive for two years will be deleted; every attempt will be done by the company to notify client.

10. Authorization for Access and Services

By signing, the Client authorizes Pet Sitter to enter the premises and perform scheduled services without additional agreements.

Service requests should be made via the owner portal; if there are any issues, owners can email the company.

Facility clients: Please be aware that entering the premise in prohibited without guide. Due to the nature of behavior dogs- we cannot allow clients to go in building without guide. 

11. Medication and Treatment Authorization

The Client authorizes Pet Sitter/Rusty’s Furry Companions to administer medication or treatment as required. The Client releases the Pet Sitter from any liability related to medication administration. If medication dosages change or a doctor discontinues medication, the owner is responsible for updating the portal.

12. Cancellation Policy

If services are canceled, the 40% booking serves as a cancellation fee and is non-refundable. Reserved spaces are blocked off for the Client’s use.

13. Pet Transportation

If pet transportation is requested, the Owner understands that safety measures (seatbelt or crate) will be used. Rusty’s Furry Companions maintains proper insurance for transportation. Transportation fees apply.

Add-ons can be requested at the time of service in the owner portal or by email/text; some require payment through the owner portal/website.

14. Scheduling and Confirmation

When you submit a service request through the owner portal, the Administration team will review and either approve your request, at which point you will receive confirmation via email and an in-app notification. Should any modifications be necessary, the company will contact you through the portal to discuss and implement the required changes. The Time to Pet app always provides you with comprehensive access to your account.

15. Hours of Operation

Office hours: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM. Working hours: 6:00 AM–9:00 PM. Fees apply for working hours.

 

Consultations are scheduled based on schedule, requesting through the owner portal or email/text.

16. Memberships and Packages

Memberships are billed monthly or annually via automatic payments, with details provided on THE WEBSITE. Owners can easily sign up through the Owner Portal-Time to Pet.

 

Credit card will need to be on file for automatic billing, through Time to Pet.

Daycare packages are also arranged through the Owner Portal-Time to Pet, helping owners save money throughout the year.

17. Credit Card in Time to Pet

You can save a credit card to your account. For extra services, we'll email you three days before charging your card. If charges exceed $100, we'll also call you before processing payment.

*Please note, that if you have not used the services provided by Rusty's Furry Companions in a 2 year period, your account will be deleted to create more space for New Clients. If you return after the 2 year period, you will be required to fill out ALL the Information again.
