Charan began her journey in the animal care industry over 20 years ago in her hometown of Sarasota. Her lifelong love for pets blossomed with the arrival of Rusty, a rescued Chow Chow, whose companionship ignited her true passion for caring for animals.
As a Certified Pet Expert, Certified Dog Walker, Pet CPR certified, First Aid certified, Pet Psychology certified, and retired Veterinary Nurse, Charan specializes in the care of special-needs pets, offering not just dedicated love but also guidance and education for her clients.

Welcome to the RFC Family Maggie!!
Hi! My name is Maggie Morris. I am originally from Kansas City, Missouri, and moved to Tampa 4 years ago to attend USF! I grew up begging my parents for a dog and we finally adopted a Bernese Mountain Dog when I was 16...then we adopted 3 more: a pug, English bulldog, and a French bulldog! My sophomore year of college, I rescued my first dog, Matcha. He has had issues with reactivity since 3 months into owning him, which developed my passion for all things animal training, health, enrichment, etc. With him being reactive to people, cats, and other dogs, I thought adopting a second dog was never in the cards for us. However, I became very involved with fostering at the Hillsborough County PRC, which not only helped his reactivity, but also led us to our perfect girl Linlin! We have had her since October of 2025. Aside from animals, my passions include travel, crafting, and reading! Can't wait to love on your pets!

I was born and raised in Florida, where my love for animals started at a young age. Growing up around dogs and livestock gave me hands-on experience caring for animals and inspired me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
I am currently attending school to become a veterinarian, with the goal of working with both small and large animals. I enjoy learning something new every day and am passionate about providing compassionate care to every pet.
When I'm not at work or studying, you'll usually find me spending time with my beautiful two horses or enjoying the outdoors with my cats. I'm grateful to be part of a team that shares my passion for helping animals and the people who love them.
